Sundays at St Mary’s are about making space to meet with Jesus and one another through worship, prayer and community.

9:15 AM

Reflective Service

A quiet, contemplative service with hymns, communion most weeks, and time to pause and pray. It’s a space to draw close to Jesus in stillness. This is followed by a time of coffee, cake and conversation.

11 AM

Contemporary Service

An informal gathering with extended worship, teaching, and prayer - open to God’s presence and the work of His Spirit. There are often specific streams for kids and youth. You are welcome to join us from 10:15 for shared hospitality between our services - a time to connect with others over a hot drink.

Shared Lunch

Once a month we gather around the table for a whole church lunch - everyone is welcome. A relaxed time together to connect, share stories and build community.

Whoever you are, wherever you’ve come from, you’re welcome to come as you are, to meet Jesus, to worship, and to belong.

SUNDAY GROUPS

  • We have a growing community of young disciples! Kids meet together every Sunday in church at the 11am service for worship, fun, time spent with Jesus, and to share a snack or two around the table.

  • God is raising up a generation of bold young people who are unashamed to love Jesus. We’re passionate about creating a space for youth at St Mary’s to discover more about who God is, their identity in Him, and to be equipped to follow Jesus and share their faith with others. We have a regular youth stream at our 11am service on a Sunday.

  • Ambleside is home to a thriving university, and we love welcoming students into the life of St Mary’s. We gather termly for meals together, worship and prayer nights, and we’re committed to supporting students in their journey of faith at university. If you’re studying here in Ambleside and would like to meet other Christian students, or go for a coffee with one of the team, we’d love to connect with you.
